An exciting new development!
The Manchester Amateur Football League is delighted to announce that last week, Manchester Football Association granted approval by the Leagues Working Group to begin offering veterans football.
This is an exciting new development, and we can’t wait to see how it progresses.
Although competition specific rules are still being revised by the League Management Committee, it has been presently confirmed that the Vets League will be open only to players who are 35 or older.
We are now actively on the lookout for teams to join us for the forthcoming 26/27 season. Whether your club has an existing presence within MASFL, or you are completely new, we’d love to hear from you! Get in touch via the ‘Join Us’ tab on this website, and keep an eye on the ’35+ Division’ page, which will be kept up to date with all the necessary information!
Finally, we would like to thank the hard work of all our teams, volunteers and officials who, through maintaining the highest standards, have helped provide a stable platform from which the league can prepare to undertake this exciting step forward!
